WICT F7A #901 - Wisconsin & Calumet  Contributor's Pick!
Here is a true boomer loco as served on at least 6 railroads during its life. Built by EMD for the Denver & Rio Grande Western in July of 1949, it now serves the Escanaba & Lake Superior RR as its latest railroad. With the "Rock County" label under its window and the brown/orange paint scheme, the approximate date is between 1989 but before its paint faded in 1993 and a repaint in 1995 to its new Charleston & Western Carolina colors. Unknown photographer and location.
